You've found the perfect holiday — but is it the best price? The same hotel and dates are often sold by several UK travel companies at very different prices. Here's how to check properly.
1. Write down the exact details
Note the hotel name, departure airport, date, number of nights, board basis (e.g. all inclusive) and everyone travelling. Change any one of these and you're no longer comparing the same holiday.
2. Add up the extras
Hold bags, pre-booked seats and transfers can add hundreds of pounds. A cheaper headline price can end up more expensive once extras are added.
3. Compare the total, not the headline
