Which holidays include free hold luggage?
Luggage is one of the biggest hidden costs on a holiday. Some package providers include a hold bag in the price, while others charge for each bag, each way.
Why allowances differ
Package prices are built from flights and hotels bought from different airlines. Depending on the airline and fare, a hold bag may be included or sold as an add-on.
What bags typically cost
Adding a 23kg hold bag usually costs somewhere between £40 and £70 per person for a return trip, and sports or extra bags cost more.
How to compare fairly
